Clearogen Review + Giveaway; Cleanser, Toner, and Acne Lotion

Hey everyone, today I have another review plus giveaway for you guys! As I told you previously, I have a ton of items I've been wanting to review and I wanted to do this one sooner, but I had to give it the fullest amount of time to really give a good honest review. I am talking about the Clearogen cleanser that I have been using since just about the beginning of November. So, without any more babbling.... Here you go!

I really liked this product and would suggest the cleanser, I only tried out the cleanser and the acne lotion but I assume with the toner, you would get even better results. You can find their products here on their website, or at Sephora. The Revivogen company also makes RejuveMD which is a skin serum specializing in reducing fine lines and wrinkles. It is another one I was gifted by the company, but have only been using it for about two weeks and need to give it a lot more time. I am really excited about this one because I am heading into my 30's (Aaaaaaahhhh) and wrinkles scare me, quite frankly! So that one will be coming up within the next two months.

Update as of March:

This was really drying out my skin and irritating it to the point of peeling. I have since started using the Fresh Soy Cleanser and added a toner, with just coconut oil to moisturize afterwards. It has worked to replenish the moisture, the cleanser is not very drying and it hardly bubbles. It is much more of a cream cleanser. 

My Go-To Makeup with Purple Eyes

So here is my first make-up tutorial! I did not realize that in order to do a voice over I had to do it prior to uploading it to youtube, I thought Youtube editor would allow me to do that, but it doesn't.. so I came up with what I got. Also, I spaced and thought I had back ground music through the whole video, but I didn't. So the last half is in awkward silence. Oooops. I'm learning, though. Next time will be better, promise.

What I Wore: Striped Classic Shirt and White High Waist Pants

               I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend so far! Yesterday we had a family date, just the three of us. As much as I loved to party back in the day with friends and get cray, these days are still better. We went out for sushi (yes my three year old likes sushi) and went to see the minions movie, which was pretty good! Afterwards we took the kid to the park and had Mexican food for dinner.

If you guys ever make it to Westerly RI ,or the surrounding area, you have to check out Koi. The roll on the right is a coconut lovers DREAM! it is drizzled in this amazing yummy coconut sauce and it's rightfully called the amazing roll. Everything always tastes so fresh, and they are so friendly and have great service. Highly recommend this spot.

What I Wore + Forever21 Gift Card Giveaway

Yesterday we went to a barbecue for the CT Bloggers group hosted by Wendy of Sweeties Sweeps. It was a lot of fun with a bunch of interesting wonderful people. We had a truly  exciting guest with us as well, writer Jane Stern of Roadfood! It was a day filled with yummy food, great conversation, and a delicious margarita. 

I wore a simple white tee and a jersey stretch ruched skirt from Forever 21, which I basically got for free thanks to their buy one, get one free sale!(which is still going on now). I kept it pretty simple and accessorized with cat eye sunglasses and jewelry, also from Forever 21. I really love their costume jewelry, it is wildly affordable and trendy. It will not last you forever, but neither do trends, and at $6, it's quite okay with me. I decided to give this new sunglasses trend(cat eye) a go and I am glad I did because they compliment my face shape and I am pretty sure they will for most. 

Because I love this store so much(for trend of the season pieces), I am personally funding a $30 gift card giveaway for you guys to stock up on some summer accessories or whatever else you please!
