Hi! Just a quick little post....
I am a bit embarrassed to say this since I write a fashion blog, but lately I have been stuck in somewhat of a fashion disaster rut. Many of my mommy readers can probably relate to this as well. Since having my daughter my husband and I decided it would be best and most beneficial if I stayed home with our daughter to raise her. The cost of daycare is ridiculously high and the amount I was making from my full time job would only leave me with a couple of bucks left over for our savings. It just wasn't worth it to send her to daycare if I had to pay them $1,200 and had $150 left in my pocket after everything was said and done. However, because I stay home nearly all the time my wardrobe has severely suffered. I can't shop like I used to since I have no income, and any extra cash flow goes to the house, food, and our savings. Earlier this week was my birthday ( YAY), and I turned 29, for the first time ( hehe). My husband took me shopping, and I got quite a few basic items that I can create a lot of looks with. I purchased the following:
While these are not super expensive designer items, they are pretty good quality for the price I paid. I got all these items for under $200! You can mix and match them so many ways and if you add a pair of jeans and a white tee, a staple in everyone's closet, you have outfits for DAYS. Everything besides the faux leather is from H&M. The skirt and legging is from Forever 21, and up close the skirt resembles real leather quite closely. I plan on doing another post soon with pairing all these things together for some different looks. I am really excited to wear these outfits somewhere!
p.s I really need to give my husband the credit for this green blouse because I wouldn't have picked it out, but he wanted to see it on me and I have to say it is my FAVORITE from this shopping trip.
Awesome choices love the tops and the skirt!!!
ReplyDeletethanks! Now I have to just wait for the weather to wear it :/
