Work Pants for the Vertically Challenged
I do not know if you guys know this, but I am kind of short... I am at that in between where I am considered 'average' height but too short to fit into regular length pants that are made for models. On top of that, I have a long torso so my legs are shorter than average because my torso is longer. I had a request last week to find good work pants for a reader that is on the shorter side. I did a little bit of research and headed to Ann Taylor to try some stuff on.
Not only was this season's product beautiful, but the fit of their pants is perfect for me! They claim it is for ladies 5'4" and under and I am right on the cusp at that exact measurement. With flats, their size 2 fit perfect. I did find it runs bigger compared to places like H&M, where I am normally a 6 in pants. If you are tinier than that with a kitten to mid heel these lengths are perfect for someone 5'0- 5'2". The quality is really top notch and the fabrics feel luxurious and durable.
The prices are near the $100 mark, but these are quality pants that will last you a long time. Also, you don't have to take these in for alterations!

For some more affordable options, Target also carries petites for women and they have a large selection. I did not go into investigation mode there and try them on, so I can not speak on quality. The prices on average around $28 for a pair of Target pants.

Do you guys have any go-to for petites?
Thanks for reading!
