Oscar Dresses

Sadly, I did not get to watch the Oscars live but I did get a good long viewing of the red carpet dresses thanks to all the photographers there. It seems that light pastel colors ruled the carpet, but most popular was white/cream. I have my own list of best and worst dressed, which matches pretty closely to the professionals opinions, minus a few. There were some that I was expecting a lot more from and they disappointed me. I will start with what I consider the best:

Just so pretty! This color is so beautiful on Lupita Nyong'0 and when she twirled and spun the dress, it was magnificent. This one is by Prada.
Kate Hudson's Versace gown was my second favorite, it fits her perfectly like a glove, the deep V doesn't even make me nervous because it all seems secure. the drape and seams are all in perfect spots to flatter and wow. The hair makes it an A+ for me.
I really enjoy Emma Watson's style, I think she is a great risk taker but usually pulls off the ensemble really well. This look from Vera Wang is a bit different and a little edgy, but I like it on her.
I think Angelina Jolie looks stunning in anything she puts on, this Elie Saab gown was no exception. I would prefer if it was sleeveless I think, but perhaps it would be too predictable then.
I like this one, but it is borderline for me.Meh? What do you guys think?

To me, Jessica Biel is one of the most beautiful people in the world. This dress was nice, but it did not match her beauty! Her hair, make-up, and jewelry were on point though.
Although I am not a huge fan of peplums, this one worked! I think the dress would be boring without this little lace peplum. I really like the little bit of peek-a-boo lace in the neckline instead of the regular plunging neckline. This one is very age appropriate. The other thing I like is the collar on the halter, and of course the fact that it is lace does it for me.

I wasn't sure who this woman is, but that dress is PERFECT. I love the neckline and the lace. I also think this would be beautiful in a shorter, knee length version.
Okay so this is more for Chris Hemsworth, Oh God that man is gorgeous in a suit. Also, who can resist a nearly popping pregnant woman in a evening gown with six inch heels? You go girl. She looks beautiful.

Okay now on to the disappointments :
I love this chick.. Hated her dress. Jennifer Lawrence seems like the most down to earth celeb with a great sense of humor and she is very humble. I think I would have liked this more if it did not have the ridiculous peplum around it. It fits her great but that thing just makes it look cheap.
Amy Adams.. Oh no. The top of this dress looks like a penguin is grabbing her boobs from behind..
I don't know if I got too used to Gaga doing the crazy outfits or maybe its her face here, but this is not right. I can see this look on Charlize Theron, or someone more glamorous. Perhaps it's the scarf just thrown over her neck? Not sure.

What is your opinion? Which one would you wear? (besides Chris H.)..
