I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend and, if it applies to you, Mother's day as well. Happy mommy's day to all the mom's out there! Me and my little family drove down to visit our families and, most importantly, our mothers. Saturday we had dinner at my parents place where my mom cooked a full on feast( I know, she shouldn't have been cooking since it's her celebration). My mom is a nurturer, and she takes care of all of us. She is also known between the 2 families as 'the cook'. She has skills. She grilled skirt steak, ribs, and lamb chops. So delicious.
Sunday we spent with my mother-in-law. My husband took the both of us out for lunch to a sushi spot I have been craving. There is a place in Stamford that is all you can eat sushi, and I don't mean that crap that they call a california roll that has been sitting on the buffet table for HOURS in a P.O.S chinese restaurant. I mean a full on, pick your order and they will keep bringing you delicious just made sushi grade awesomeness until you just can't anymore. It's Sushi X, and I can't believe this place isn't packed every single time. They have everything from appetizers to cooked dishes to sushi to dessert, all you can eat for $25 per person.
Amazing, right?!
This is what I wore on Sunday:
I'm wearing a Rachel Zoe navy sweater, and the shorts are H&M.
Hat, glasses, belt are all old Zara(over 3 years).
Love these wedges from JustFab.
Also, I have to post these bloopers of me getting frustrated with my husband because of his lack of photography skills because they're just hilarious...
(Looks like I am singing opera hehe)
Thanks for reading!
